In a typical data center, the air conditioning and cooling systems consume about 40% of the total power, which is equivalent to the power consumption of server equipment. Fundamentally improving the power efficiency of the motors and VSDs (inverters), which are the main components of the air conditioning and cooling systems, directly contributes to energy savings and reductions in electricity costs for the entire data center. Additionally, harmonic measures lead to system optimization. We offer a lineup of inverters that meet the harmonic requirement of THDi below 5% required in data centers, including the "IE5 Ultra High Efficiency Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM)" that maintains high efficiency even at partial loads and variable speeds, the "Inverter-Integrated Motor EC Titanium IE5+" that saves space and wiring, and the "Cooling Tower Directly Coupled Vertical Motor (CTDD)." These inverters meet the THDi of 3% without the need for additional equipment such as AC/DC reactors or active filters.
